A few days a week, I take an early morning walk through my neighborhood. Ostensibly it’s exercise, but I just need the space. Sound familiar?
I breathe, I observe, I watch the seasonal changes in the dying trees of Midtown Sacramento, CA. I take pictures of anything that I find interesting or weird. Mostly weird, now that I think of it.
I am no photographer, or even a writer, really. I am simply compiling things that take me out of the churn of the middle class, capitalist grind — or pull me deeper into it.
Things that reflect my own flaws back at me.
Step outside. Walk with me.
